Message From The President

It is with great optimism I look forward to Season 2010. Having just had one of the coldest winters since records began we must be due a hot summer in which to play the great sport of cricket.
With our varied programme of cricket and so many good teams throughout the league I'm sure we're in for a very competitive season.
Finally I'd like once again to congratulate our NoSCA select side on winning a national tournament, fairly putting us on the cricketing map and making us very proud.
Thanks to all who devote time, money and encouragement to keep our cricket alive. Have a great season enjoy the challenge and most importantly the friendship.

ORCA Claim Reserve Cup Trophy

On a sunny day at Strathpeffer Ross County batted first, scoring a competitive 129 off the 30 overs. ORCA responded briskly until Chris Rae retired on 35. The ORCA innings slowed and Ross County came back into the match taking wickets and slowing the runs. Clarke returned from an injury retirement late in the match to up the scoring rate and see his team home with a couple of overs to spare.
